The "BLACK PASSIVATION OF ZINC" kit is used to provide final processing to zinc surfaces achieved using the galvanic method, or to surfaces achieved by dipping the item in a hot solution. After the processing of the surface with the black passivation compound, it becomes more corrosion resistant, more UV resistant, and attains a good exterior look.
Unlike other similar methods, the chemicals used in this process are completely devoid of highly-toxic chrome bonds (VI). This kit makes it possible to apply finely finished black coatings to zinc and cadmium alloys. It is often used for the blackening of bolts, nuts, furniture fittings, wall fittings, etc.
Usage
It is used to enhance anti-corrosion properties and improve the exterior appearances of zinc surfaces.

Each kit includes a detailed User Manual with a step-by-step description of the preparation and execution processes of metallization. All the chemicals included in the kits are preliminarily weighed and packed in the required proportions, so all that is needed in order to get the working electrolyte solution is to dissolve those packets in distilled water, in the prescribed sequence.
GENERAL DATA. Working temperature of the solution for black passivation: 25-30°C. Duration for which the item should be immersed in the solution for black passivation: 25-35 minutes. The black passivation solution can be used for a long time. Using a 5 liter kit you can process a total area of 18-19m2. During the process, from time to time, it is necessary to add acid solution to the electrolyte, adjusting its pH level to the required norm of 3.1-4.6. If the quality of the surface deteriorates, or the processing time increases, the solution should be topped up with 40-42 g of "PASSIVATOR-BP/A"
