The "BLUISH-RAINBOW PASSIVATION OF ZINC" kit is used for the finishing and passivation of zinc surfaces, deposited using the galvanization method, and which produces a coating with a beautiful rainbow-like color, with a bluish tint. This coating is corrosion resistant (can withstand up to 180 hours in a salt cloud).
Unlike other similar processes, the chemicals used for this process are totally free of highly toxic bonds of chrome (VI), and after the process, the resulting surfaces are highly decorative and have a beautiful bluish-rainbow tint.
After passivation, the coating has extraordinarily high corrosion resistance. There is no need for any additional protective coating. For the process, it is sufficient simply to immerse the item in the solution, at room temperature, for 20-40 seconds. For best results, after passivation dry the item at a temperature of 50-60°C.
Usage
This kit is used to enhance the exterior look of zinc surfaces and to improve its corrosion resistance.

Each kit includes a detailed User Manual with a step-by-step description of the preparation and execution processes of metallization. All the chemicals included in the kits are preliminarily weighed and packed in the required proportions, so all that is needed in order to get the working electrolyte solution is to dissolve those packets in distilled water, in the prescribed sequence.
GENERAL DATA. Working temperature of the solution for passivation: 18-25°C. Time for which the item should be submerged in the solution for rainbow passivation: 10-20 seconds. During the process of passivation it is necessary to periodically check the pH level of the solution and to add "PASSIVATOR-BP", to bring the pH level to 1.3 – 1.7. During the process of passivation (using a 5 liter kit), after surface treatment of an area of 4m2, the solution must be replenished, adding 55-60 ml of "REACTIVE-BP" and 5-6 ml of "LEVELING ADDITIVE".
