The "RAINBOW PASSIVATION" kit is used for the finishing and passivation of galvanized zinc surfaces. The resulting surface has a beautiful rainbow-like gradient look, depending on the angle at which the light falls on it, and has high corrosion resistance.
Unlike other similar processes, the chemicals used in this process contain a very low concentration of chrome, and after the process, the zinc surface has a better saturation of rainbow coating.
This coating can be applied to zinc or cadmium alloys. After the application of the coating, the resulting surface has a rainbow-yellow color, high corrosion resistance (can withstand up to 130 hours in a salt cloud), and can be used as a finishing coat or as primer before painting.
Usage
It is used for the passivation of surfaces, after which the surface attains a beautiful rainbow tint and high corrosion resistance.

Each kit includes a detailed User Manual with a step-by-step description of the preparation and execution processes of metallization. All the chemicals included in the kits are preliminarily weighed and packed in the required proportions, so all that is needed in order to get the working electrolyte solution is to dissolve those packets in distilled water, in the prescribed sequence.
GENERAL DATA.
Working temperature of the passivation solution 18-25°C.Duration for which the item should be immersed in the rainbow solution: 30-120 seconds. Using a 5 liter kit you can apply coating to a total area of 6.5-7m2. After coating an area of 3.5-4m2, the solution must be replenished by adding 65-70g of "REACTIVE-OP". Simultaneously, add the replenishing chemical "PASSIVATOR" (included in the kit) to the solution, until the pH level reaches 1.6-1.9. To control the pH level of the solution, use the pH-meter or the indictor strip (included in the kit).
