The compound is used for the application of primary nickel coating to aluminium prior to performing of chemical or electrochemical nickel-plating. The compound provides good adhesion of applied nickel coating to the base. After the application of the primary nickel compound to an aluminium surface, the surface may be coated with "bright nickel".
Process steps:
- Treatment with solution "UNIVERSAL CLEANER"
- Washing
- Treatment with solution "CHEMICAL ACTIVATOR"
- Washing
- Treatment with solution "ETCHING AND CLARIFYING SOLUTIONS"
- Washing
- Treatment with solution "PRIMARY NICKEL"
When nickel-plating silicon-containing alloys, prior to the "bright nickel" solution treatment of an aluminium surface, the item should be treated with "etching and clarifying solution РћРЎР’-KM".
Usage
The "PRIMARY NICKEL" kit is used in the treatment of an aluminium surface prior to the application of the coatings "bright nickel" or "bright red copper".

Each kit includes a detailed User Manual with a step-by-step description of the preparation and execution processes of metallization. All the chemicals included in the kits are preliminarily weighed and packed in the required proportions, so all that is needed in order to get the working electrolyte solution is to dissolve those packets in distilled water, according to the sequence prescribed.
GENERAL DATA. Working temperature of the solution "universal cleaner": 45-50°C, duration of processing: 5-6 minutes. Working temperature of the solution "chemical activator": 20-25°C, duration of processing: 10-30 seconds. Working temperature of the solution "primary nickel": 50-60°C, duration of processing in "primary nickel": 20-30 seconds.
Five liters of solution "primary nickel" allows you to process an aluminium surface with a total area of 12-12.5 m2.
